Barcelona confirm squad for Eintracht Frankfurt clash as Memphis Depay misses out

Barcelona boss Xavi has confirmed his squad to face Eintracht Frankfurt in Europa League quarter final action.

The La Blaugrana convoy has already arrived in Germany ahead of tomorrow’s game at the Deutsche Bank Arena with Dutch star Memphis Depay missing out.

The former Lyon star came off the bench in the weekend La Liga win over Sevilla but a hamstring problem has forced him to remain in Spain.

Depay’s absence is the only new injury blow for Xavi with Brazilian veteran Dani Alves also omitted due to being ineligible for European games.

Xavi is expected to stick with the bulk of his starting line up from the key victory at home to Sevilla, with Spanish star Oscar Mingueza highlighted as a potential defensive alternate for Alves away in Germany.
