Real Madrid have announced the signing of Santos starlet Rodrygo for a reported €45m.
A statement on Madrid’s official website confirms Rodryigo will remain at Santos until July 2019 so the forward can prolong his development.
The 17-year-old was also linked with a move to Barcelona and enjoyed a breakthrough 2018, scoring nine goals in 29 appearances.
He follows in the footsteps of fellow Brazilian teen Vinicius, who is due to join up with Los Blancos for the first time next month.
