Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly only wants a return to Manchester United if he leaves Real Madrid this summer.
Portuguese newspaper A Bola – who broke the initial story about Ronaldo wanting out of Madrid – cites transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who believes the forward has made the aforementioned request to his agent, Jorge Mendes.
The Daily Express, however, maintains Chelsea are willing to offer €200m plus Eden Hazard, in what would smash Paul Pogba’s world-record, €110m move back to United last summer.
Ronaldo spent six years at Old Trafford and was coached by Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho in the Spanish capital between 2010 and 2013.
Despite the pair clashing on several occasions, Mourinho attended the premiere of his countryman’s documentary, Ronaldo, in London two years ago, with AS stating they have “smoothed things over”.
The newspaper believes Bayern Munich and Paris Saint Germain are also prepared to bid for the attacker.
