Ron’s ‘irreversible decision’ to leave RM

Cristiano Ronaldo has made an ‘irreversible decision’ to leave Real Madrid and Spain, according to sensational reports on Friday.

A Bola and Record – the latter of the two is viewed as particularly reputable – state the 32-year-old wants to end his eight-year stay at the Bernabeu and has communicated his decision to Madrid president Florentino Perez.

The four-time Ballon d’Or winner enjoyed another sensational season, helping to propel Los Blancos to La Liga and Champions League glory, but is now facing a potential tax avoidance trial.

Despite Real Madrid giving their full support to their star attacker, the Portuguese is said to still be less than happy in the Spanish capital.

Ronaldo is frequently whistled and jeered by Madrid fans if he is not on top of his game and has dropped several hints over the season that he does not feel sufficient gratitude.

Speculation over who could afford the Madeira-native makes a move away unlikely, with only Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and the Chinese Super League viable options.
