LA Galaxy have completed the signing of Giovani dos Santos from Villarreal, it has been announced.
The MLS side’s Coach Bruce Arena confirmed the transfer of the Mexican winger during an interview with The LA Times.
"It’s going to be a challenge for him," the former United States boss said. "He's not been at a club yet where he's had those kind of responsibilities.”
The 26-year-old, who is currently playing in the Gold Cup for his country, will link up with his new teammates after the tournament. He leaves the Yellow Submarine after two years at the club.
