Arjen Robben’s return to action with Bayern Munich on Tuesday lasted just 18 minutes and he is now a major doubt for the clash with Barcelona.
The clubs meet in the semi-finals of the Champions League next week, with the first leg taking place at the Camp Nou on May 6 and the return in Munich on May 12.
However, the Dutchman, who was forced off through injury after 84 minutes of Bayern’s German Cup semi-final with Borussia Dortmund and is now struggling to be fit for the tie.
Robben left the pitch appearing to hold his left calf, seemingly with a torn muscle, while Pep Guardiola’s team suffered further disappointment as they exited the competition on penalties.
The Dutch international had not played since March 22 when he suffered the same problem.
