Jonathan dos Santos has been confirmed as out of Barcelona’s preseason friendly with Santos for the Joan Gamper Trophy.
The Mexican has been reported by the club as suffering with an overloading of his right thigh muscle, which will prevent his involvement in tonight’s fixture.
The 23-year-old, who this week confirmed he will stay with the club for next season, joins Cristian Tello on the sidelines for the match against Neymar’s former side Santos.
For the annual match held at the Camp Nou to play for the Joan Gamper Trophy, the Catalans have included B team players Dongou and Bagnack.
