Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has conceded that he was amazed by the appointment of Pep Guardiola as the club's new Coach.
The former Barcelona tactician was named as boss of the Bavarian club last week, and the Dutch international has admitted that it is a great fit.
“I was amazed,” he told reporters. “Everything went so quickly. I heard his name being mentioned on Tuesday, and then in happened.
“Players never know what about these things.
“Guardiola was wanted by many European clubs, but he will fit well here at Bayern.
“He is a Coach who thinks only about offensive football, and that's the sort of game we want to play here.”
Guardiola will take over from Jupp Heynckes in July.
