Las Palmas have been the busiest La Liga club in the transfer market this summer, with 11 players having already joined Luis Carrion’s squad: Marvin Park, Jasper Cillessen, Manu Fuster, Ivan Cedric, Viti, Alex Munoz, Ivan Gil, Jaime Mata, Dinko Horkas, Adnan Januzaj and Oli McBurnie. That number has now become 12.
On Thursday, Las Palmas announced the signing of Scott McKenna, whom they agreed a contract with last week. The defender, who was ever-present for Scotland at Euro 2024 earlier in the summer, has joined the Gran Canaria-based club as a free agent, following the expiry of his deal with Nottingham Forest.

McKenna has signed a three-year deal with Las Palmas. He is expected to be the replacement for Saul Coco, who joined Torino last month. He typically plays as a central defender, although he can also cover at left-back – where there is also a lack of options because of Sergi Cardona’s departure.
