Real Madrid have released their home kit for the upcoming 2024-25 season, and it is already on sale in the club stores and online, for the pretty price of €100. However buying a Kylian Mbappe shirt is impossible at the moment.
Adidas have gone for a more basic design this season, with a simple black trim on a textured white kit. The away strip will be a departure from the norm with a bright orange colour, while their third kit will be a more traditional black and grey pattern.

Buying the ‘authentic’ shirt that is the exact same as the players wear will set any fan back €160, without personalising the kit. Yet as reported by Diario AS, it is currently impossible to get Mbappe on the back, with the Frenchman to wear the number nine next season.

The reason being that Mbappe’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain does not expire until the 30th of June. With relations between both Mbappe and PSG, and Real Madrid and PSG, somewhat strained, the French giants are unwilling to cede the rights to the 25-year-old ahead of time. Similarly, the relatively austere announcement from Real Madrid may in part be due to the fact that PSG still own some of his image rights, hence Mbappe only appeared in photos from his youth or in France shirts.
