Having signed on loan from Atletico Madrid on the final day of last summer’s transfer window, Joao Felix failed to make the desired impression at Barcelona during the 2023-24 season, which made a return to Catalonia this summer seemingly unlikely. However, his chances of re-signing have been handed a major boost.
As reported by Marca, new manager Hansi Flick has told Barcelona officials that he would welcome Felix returning on loan for another season. Flick believes that the Portuguese forward would be a valuable addition to his squad, although at this stage, no decision has been made internally.

🚨 JUST IN: Hansi Flick is willing to have João Félix stay at Barcelona for another season. A final decision is yet to be made, but his continuity is viewed positively.
However, it is clear that Barca will NOT buy the player; they will work on a second loan.

Barcelona have no interest in signing Felix on a permanent basis, so if another approach is made, it would be for a second loan. However, the likelihood is that they would demand that Atleti agree to the same terms that were agreed upon for last season’s deal.
Given that Atletico Madrid have no intention whatsoever of keeping Felix for next season, it does mean that Barcelona are much more likely to get him on their terms. It remains to be seen whether a second loan does come around, but it does seem more possible than before.
HAHAHAHA guys been useless whole season PAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
