Barcelona are almost at full strength for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final showdown with Paris Saint-Germain, which takes place on Wednesday at the Parc des Princes. Andreas Christensen, Frenkie de Jong and Pedri have all made the trip to the French capital, although the latter pair are yet to receive medical clearance.
Their return means that Gavi and Alejandro Balde are Barcelona’s only two absentees, although the former will be with the rest of his teammates in Paris, which the Catalan club themselves confirmed on Tuesday.

Gavi has been present at the vast majority of Barcelona’s matches since he tore his ACL and damaged his meniscus in November. Unfortunately, he is still out of action for another few months, so he can’t participate, but his presence will be a boost, as he can act as a motivator to his teammates.
Barcelona would have loved Gavi to be available for this tie, as it’s the sort of occasion that the 19-year-old would relish. Alas, he won’t be playing, but they still have more than enough quality to see of PSG.
