Highly rated Barcelona B star recieves Senegal call up

Another rising Barcelona star is set for a senior international call up this week with Barca B defender Mikayil Faye joining Senegal.

Teenage centre back Pau Cubarsi has been rewarded for his superb breakthrough into the first team with a place in Luis de la Fuente’s Spain squad.

Fellow defender Faye will now link up with Senegal in the coming days following injury withdrawals from Aliou Cisse’s panel.

Cisse is seet to confirm the call in the coming days ahead of friendlies against Gabon and Benin this month.

Faye is highly rated in the Barcelona set up with the club rejecting a €9m January offer from Lens according to Mundo Deportivo.

The 19-year-old only joined last summer, but he is already being touted for a first team debut before the end of the campaign, after being included in match day squads.

Barca B ae currently second in the Primera Federacion (third tier) and they are in the running for a potential promotion to the Segunda Division.
