Federico Valverde and Alex Baena have dominated the news on Sunday in Spanish football, following an alleged incident between the pair following Villarreal’s excellent 3-2 victory over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Valverde is alleged to have punched Baena inside the grounds of the Bernabeu, after the Villarreal youngster allegedly made comments about the Uruguayan’s unborn child. Baena has denied the accusations in a post on Twitter.
El Chiringuito have now released footage on Baena following the incident. He has been pictured leaving the airport in Vila-Real, heaving flown back with the rest of his teammates from Madrid on Saturday night.

The matter has generated much discussion so far, and that is expected to continue, especially if Baena decides to take things further with the relevant authorities.
As of yet, neither Real Madrid nor Valverde have publicly addressed the situation, although they will likely do so in the coming days.
