As was shown during their Champions League last 16 tie, Real Madrid and Liverpool have a relatively good relationship. The pair have played numerous times in recent years, including in two Champions League finals.
Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp could look to take advantage of the good nature between the sides this summer, as he targets improving his midfield options. El Nacional report that the Premier League side are lining up an offer of €80m for Aurelien Tchouameni.
Tchouameni has been resigned to a squad role under Carlo Ancelotti of late, following the resurgence of fellow Frenchman Eduardo Camavinga.
Tchouameni only joined Real Madrid last summer, but there appears to be a small possibility that he could depart after just one year, although it has been reported recently that Los Blancos want to keep him at the club.
Tchouameni’s adaptation to life at Real Madrid has been slower than expected, but he appears to retain the full support of the club’s hierarchy. It would be extremely unlikely to see him leave this summer.
