Real Madrid Castilla players have found it difficult to break into Carlo Ancelotti’s first team this season, despite several injuries having plagued the squad at various times.
Only a select few have been promoted at different points, although none have been used for a sustained period of time. There have been calls for Sergio Arribas to be given a regular chance, and likewise with Rafa Marin.
The latter has been included in first team training several times of late, and has impressed, although he is yet to make his Real Madrid debut. He may miss out on appearing altogether, with Sport reporting that Paris Saint-Germain are keeping tabs on him.
They quote reports from Luca Demange that Marin’s agent met with Luis Campos, who is Sporting Director at PSG, on Friday to discuss the possibility of signing the 20-year-old.
Marin’s contract at Real Madrid expires at the end of next season, and with negotiations at a standstill at present, there is a risk that he could depart the club without being given a proper first team chance,
