WATCH: Vinicius Junior caught slapping down Ferran Torres as he leaves the pitch

Vinicius Junior is not known for making friends with the opposition on the pitch, and if he was cordial with Ferran Torres before this El Clasico, he might not be right now.

The Brazilian was initiated a scuffle with Gavi early in the match, and was on a booking for around an hour, but managed to avoid a second booking. As he was going off though, a melee ensued.

During that melee, Vinicius was seen shouting at Barcelona forward Ferran Torres. He appears to tell Torres that he isn’t very good.

“You shut up, you’re terrible,” he appears to say to Ferran.

This is hardly a dreadful insult, and will likely go down well with some, but quite poorly with others, not least Barcelona fans.

Ronald Araujo spoke after the match that Vinicius needed to focus on his football rather than having a go at opponents, while Fede Valverde admitted he did not understand why Vinicius sought out trouble. Either way the treatment of Vinicius in Spain this season has been horrendous, and heat of the spotlight on Vinicius runs the risk of fomenting that treatment.

  1. It feels like he was actually giving him a compliment.
In my opinion (and many others) torres is a huge flop and utterly useless.

Saying that he is terrible is a step up from useless, which he is. Invisible in Champions League, invisible in Europa League.

There is a reason hairless one got rid of him. You got to be a mor0n to pay 55 mils for him. Utterly brainIess mor0n.
