Real Madrid are celebrating their place in the Copa del Rey final after thumping Barcelona 4-1 on aggregate at Camp Nou. The second leg of their Copa del Rey tie saw them obliterate Barcelona in the second half, providing a much needed boost for Los Blancos.
The atmosphere within the Real Madrid dressing room was ecstatic, with various players taking out the dance moves to express just that.
Following the match, footage emerged of Carlo Ancelotti’s post-match team talk too, and he was able to send the Real Madrid team into celebration again.
“Proud, proud to see a match like this. To sit on the bench is something to be proud of, for me and for all of you.”
“Second, I lied to you. It was not a final. This was a lie, it was a semi-final, the final we still have to play. [laughs].”
“And third, listen now, tomorrow is a day off.”

The Italian is well-loved in Madrid in general, but his players seem to have a special affection for him. The relationship between Ancelotti and his players has been evident for some time, but this was another illustration of how they enjoy his humour and enjoy working under him.
