The dressing room scenes were a sight to behold for Madridistas, as they celebrated their victory wildly. Following chants of ‘Asi, asi, asi gana el Madrid’ [Like that, like that, that’s the way Real Madrid win], Antonio Rudiger and Eder Militao started breaking out the moves.

The buzz from the Madrid squad was tangible, and it felt like a statement victory from Los Blancos. As Real Madrid left the stadium, Dani Ceballos could also be heard shouting ‘La nueva era’ [the new era], taking a shot at those in Barcelona who had declared the recent results between the two a new era.
Going into their Champions League tie with Chelsea next week, confidence is back to sky high levels at Valdebebas, with Los Blancos looking as good as they have all season.
