The future of Jude Bellingham is expected to be sorted this summer, after months of intense speculation over the next destination of the Borussia Dortmund midfielder.
Bellingham has attracted strong interest from across Europe, with three clubs emerging as frontrunners: Real Madrid, Manchester City and Liverpool. The latter have reportedly made the first move by submitting an offer of £100m to Dortmund.
A bidding war is anticipated for Bellingham this summer, but Real Madrid are determined to not break the bank to sign the 19-year-old. As per Diario AS, Los Blancos have set a limit of €120m for signing Bellingham.
Real Madrid’s reasoning for this stems from their intention to sign a replacement for Karim Benzema in the summer of 2024, with the likes of Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe being reported as possible options.
Real Madrid officials are very keen on signing Bellingham, but Florentino Perez is not prepared to pay over the odds for their transfer targets.
