Lionel Messi’s future has been a hot topic over the past couple of months, with speculation suggesting that he could be set to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
He has been heavily linked with a move to MLS side Inter Miami, where his former teammate Sergio Busquets is expected to move to at the end of the season once his Barcelona contract expires. A return to the Blaugrana has also been touted, and president Joan Laporta has said that he intends to speak to Messi about coming back to Catalonia.
However, it looks as if his future will be in the French capital. PSG have been desperate to keep Messi for at least one more season at the Parc des Princes, and Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that they will get their wish.

The news will be bitterly disappointing for Barcelona fans and officials alike, who hoped that the Argentine would return to the club for a second spell.
