Cristiano Ronaldo has one contract offer a month on from Manchester United exit

Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to leave Madrid, as he looks for a new club.

The Portuguese forward is unemployed after Portugal were knocked out by Morocco on the 6th of December and has headed to Dubai, as he seeks a resolution on his future, according to Marca.

After his explosive interview led to his Manchester United contract being terminated on the 22nd of November, Ronaldo headed off to the World Cup without a club. He has been training on his own at Real Madrid’s Valdebebas training ground in recent days.

However a month on from being released, Ronaldo has just one offer on the table. Al-Nassr have given Ronaldo until the end of the year in order to decide on a deal worth €200m per year.

It appears as if Ronaldo’s career in Europe may well be over. While he obviously brings plenty of quality in front of goal, the media circus, impact on the dressing room and the financial outlay appear to be worth less than his ability on the pitch these days. At least, that has been the case so far. With Jorge Mendes as his agent, Ronaldo may well find a suitor. The deadline set by Al-Nassr means he is fast running out of time to find one though.
