Barcelona close out the season by beating A-League All Stars 3-2 in Sydney

Barcelona have played their final game of the season.

They beat the A-League All Stars 3-2 in Sydney in the club’s first-ever game in Australia. Ousmane Dembele gave them the lead in the 34th minute but it was short-lived.

Because Reno Piscopo drew the hosts level two minutes into the second-half and Adama Traore (not that one) turned the tie on its head five minutes later.

Then Adama Traore (that one) got Barcelona level in the 72nd minute before Ansu Fati produced the winner in the 77th. Barcelona enjoyed the lion’s share of possession.

Barcelona have reportedly earned €5m due to their participation in the game and will be glad to go on their summer holidays now that it’s over.

Barcelona have a big summer ahead. They finished 13 points behind La Liga champions Real Madrid last season and are going to need to recruit intelligently to close that gap this close-season.
