Barcelona escaped from San Sebastian-Donostia on Thursday evening with a 1-0 victory over Real Sociedad. It was a crucial victory in the race for the Champions League, but some were worried about the cost.
All four of Barcelona’s back four were down injured at various points in the match and only Jordi Alba stayed on the pitch until full-time. Even Barcelona’s doctor picked up an injury.
It seems however that most of those players will be fit for their match with Rayo Vallecano this Sunday night however. All of Gerard Pique, Ronald Araujo and Dani Alves are in the squad. Only pique is expected to miss out through injury.
His natural replacement is Eric Garcia, while Sergino Dest is set to come in for Dani Alves at right-back.
Mundo Deportivo predict that those will be the only changes from the Real Sociedad match and Barcelona will line up as so: Ter Stegen, Dest, Eric Garcia, Araujo, Alba, De Jong, Sergio, Gavi, Dembélé, Aubameyang y Ferran Torres.
