Sevilla could face a battle to retain their Top Four spot in La Liga this season after a low key 0-0 draw at home to Real Sociedad.
Julen Lopetegui’s side were trailing league leaders Real Madrid by ten points ahead of kick off at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and they could be overhauled by either Atletico Madrid or Barcelona in the final weeks of the campaign.
La Real did look to be the brighter of the two teams early on in the Andalucian rain as Adnan Januzaj and Alexander Sorloth were both kept out before the break.
Home keeper Marko Dmitrovic continued to be the busier of the two stoppers in the second half with a crucial late stop from substitute David Silva.

Up next for Lopetegui’s side, after the international break is a crucial trip to the Camp Nou to face rivals Barcelona, in a Champions League shootout with Real Sociedad at home to Espanyol.
