Real Sociedad have kept up their solid recent La Liga run this weekend with a 1-0 win over Basque rivals Alaves.
La Real have now picked up nine points from their last four league games as Imanol Alguacil’s side look to close in on a European qualification spot this season.
However, despite their positive overall form, Alguacil’s hosts were forced to be patient at the Estadio Anoeta.
Alexander Isak and Mikel Merino both wasted easy chances to edge the home side in front before the break with Alguacil’s frustration clear to see on the sidelines.

La Real looked to step up a gear in the second period, as Alexander Sorloth’s header came back off the post, before being hacked away.
That pressure eventually paid off, with 20 minutes to go, as Martin Zubimendi glanced home Mikel Oyarzabal’s fine free kick, before Alex Remiro produced two game winning stops late on.
