Barcelona have already decided the futures of Clement Lenglet, Samuel Umtiti and Oscar Mingueza

Barcelona intend to bring in two new centre-backs this summer transfer window and so there’s going to have to also be departures according to a report by Mundo Deportivo.

Chelsea’s pair of soon-to-be free agents Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen are the Blaugrana’s chosen targets so three players with few minutes this season are in line to make way; Clement Lenglet, Samuel Umtiti and Oscar Mingueza.

Lenglet is thought to have admirers in the Premier League and several clubs have already enquired as to his availability. Umtiti, whose career at Camp Nou has been plagued by injuries, has suitors back home in France, with Lyon one of the strongest. Mingueza, who’s barely played for Xavi Hernandez, is also expected to be told to pack his bags and head for pastures new.

Alongside Azpilicueta and Christensen Barcelona have been linked with moves for Noussair Mazraoui and Jose Gaya, two full-backs that would come at low cost. It’s feasible that Barcelona could sign an entire new backline during the summer transfer window.
