Zinedine Zidane is said to have given Paris Saint-Germain the cold shoulder.

PSG have been linked with a move for Zidane over recent days due to happenings in Manchester.

Manchester United sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer over the weekend, and current PSG head coach Mauricio Pochettino is being linked with the vacant role.

As part of that, it has been reported that PSG have been lining up former Real Madrid boss Zidane as a contingency.

But according to Diario AS, Zidane has not been totally convinced by the PSG project, nor is he keen to take over a team halfway through a season.

That could be a blow for PSG, but they do already have a boss, so the bigger impact could be felt at Old Trafford, who will now likely find it far more difficult to lure Pochettino from Paris.

United are now said to be considering appointing an interim boss until the end of the season, with former Barca boss Ernesto Valverde linked.
