Sergio Aguero has sent a message to Barcelona fans amid his heart scare.
Aguero was forced off on Saturday evening during Barca‘s 1-1 draw with Alaves after suffering discomfort in his chest.
Since the scare, the striker has been diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat, and on the back of that, Barcelona have ruled him out for three months.
Aguero will undergo tests over the coming months to gauge the full extent of his issue and to assess whether he can safely resume playing.
It’s a bitter blow for Aguero, who missed the early months of his Barcelona career with a calf injury before returning to fitness recently.

But after such a scare, health is the most important thing, and the former Manchester City star has sent a reassuring message on Twitter amid the news.
“I am fine and in good spirits to take on the process of recuperation. I want to thank everyone for all their messages of support and love that made my heart stronger today.”
Aguero is likely to miss out until at least early February due to this issue but clearly, he is already determined to return as tests continue.
