Eden Hazard makes decision over Real Madrid future ahead of January

Real Madrid star Eden Hazard looks set to stay in the Spanish capital beyond January.

Hazard has had a difficult time of things since his more than €100million move from Chelsea in 2019.

The 30-year-old has managed just 39 La Liga appearances in more than two years, scoring four times, comparing to a goal record of 85 goals in 245 league outings for Chelsea.

At this point, there is plenty of talk of Real Madrid cutting their losses on Hazard, who can’t seem to stay fit.

The Belgian missed 33 games across last season with various injury issues, and he can’t seem to nail down a starting spot this season.

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has preferred Rodrygo of late and has admitted himself that Hazard is behind in the queue.

Despite that, it seems Hazard will stay and fight for his place, with Marca reporting the winger is not considering a January departure.

Hazard is said to be determined to fight for his Real Madrid dream and a January exit is not on the cards.
