Liverpool forward Sadio Mane will play in their vital Champions League last 16 clash away against Atletico Madrid next week.
The Senegalese international came off the bench to score the winner in the Reds 1-0 victory at Norwich City, after a month out with a hamstring injury.
The former Southampton man had been rated as doubtful to face Diego Simeone’s side next week, but Jurgen Klopp has confirmed he is OK.
“Sadio has played today and we are pleased to have him back,” Klopp told the BBC in his post match interview.
“He has worked hard in training, but there is always a risk with a returning player.”
“He will be in contention to play against Atletico Madrid, Milner will also be included.”
Their win at Carrow Road means Klopp’s side are now just five victories away from a first league title since 1990, but the German insisted they will be fully focused on defending their European crown at the Wanda Metropolitano on February 18.
Atletico Madrid do have fitness concerns of their own ahead of the game, Diego Costa still rated as doubtful, and Alvaro Morata and Koke just coming back to fitness after recent spells in the sidelines in the Spanish capital.
