Valencia’s Rodrigo Moreno an injury doubt for Real Madrid clash

Valencia face an anxious wait to see if star striker Rodrigo Moreno will be fit in time to face Real Madrid tomorrow.

The Spanish international has been included in the squad by manager Albert Celades to face Los Blancos at the Estadio Mestalla on Sunday night, however according to reports in Marca, he struggling with a injury.

Fellow strikers Maxi Gomez and Kevin Gameiro have both already been ruled out until 2020 through injury, with Russian international Denis Cheryshev also sidelined for this weekend.

Rodrigo has returned to form in recent weeks, after a slow start to the season, with two goals in his last three appearances, and Celades will be hoping he passes a alte fitness test.

However Los Che have been boosted by some positive injury news in defence, with Gabriel Paulista and Mouctar Diakhaby both passed fit to play.
