Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet has admitted that the decision to postpone next weekend's El Clasico was correct.
The decision to move the Camp Nou clash came after La Liga appealed to the RFEF to move the game to a date later in 2019, and the French international told an interview with Marca that the choice makes sense.
"I have only live in Catalonia for a short time, so there is not a lot I can say about the political situation
"The problems in Barcelona right now, mean that a postponement is the best option.
"However the decision is to be taken by La Liga and the Spanish FA.
"I am happy to play El Clasico whenever it is rearranged, but we will ot make the decision.
"We have to accept the decision and play whenever."
Barcelona will now have the weekend off, with a potential new El Clasico date set for mid-December, however La Liga or the RFEF are yet to make an official announcement on the matter.
