Barcelona goal keeper Marc Ter Stegen has spoken of delight at having Lionel Messi back in the staring eleven.
Messi has endured an injury disrupted start to the 2019-20 season, with just one La Liga start this season.
However he provided the assist for Luis Suarez's winning goal in their 2-1 victory over Inter Milan, and the German international was full of praise for the returning club captain.
"We were disappointed to concede, but these things happen opposition of quality.
"But we came out on top, as we were able to show quality of our own.
"Suarez will shut a few people with his goals tonight.
"We all know that Suarez will fight until the end, and he always offers some many goals for the team.
"It is always great to have Messi in the team.
"He always gives his best for the team, with goals and assists.
"It is great that he could play the full 90 minutes tonight
"We hope he has no more injury problems.
"It is always easier to have him on the pitch."
Messi is set to make his second start of the 2019-20 La Liga season at the weekend, as Barcelona head to Eibar, as they look to close the gap on Real Madrid, Granada and Atletico Madrid.
