Casemiro confirms Real Madrid are feeling the Champions League pressure

Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro admitted that his side are under pressure to improve their Champions League form.

Zinedine Zidane's side lost 3-0 away at PSG in their first European game of 2019-20, before being held to a 2-2 draw at home to Belgian side Club Brugge.

Casemiro netted the late equaliser against Philippe Clement's, but he confirmed that they must do more if they want to seal qualification out of the group stage.

"We are having problems getting the results we want in the Champions League, that is for certain.

"Our results mean that we are in a negative position to qualify.

"But it is still in our hands, and we will defend on ourselves to qualify.

"Obviously this is not the result we wanted at home, but we reacted well to conceding two goals to get a draw."

Zidane's side face a Champions League double header against Turkish side Galatasary, before a home game with the Ligue 1 champions PSG and a trip to Belgium in their final group game.

In between European action, Los Blancos face some testing La Liga games away at Barcelona, and at home to Real Betis and Real Sociedad.
