Atletico Madrid rage at Sergio Ramos post-Madrid derby

Atletico Madrid have hit out at Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos following their 0-0 derby draw at the Wanda Metropolitano.

The Spanish international appeared to insult the assistant referee during the first half, with Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone reacting angrily to referee Jose Luis Gonzalez's lack of action.

Gonzalez spoke with Simeone in the immediate aftermath of the flash point, however he opted not to issues a card to the 33-year old defender

Simeone confirmed the incident in his post-game interview, adding that his was frustrated at the lack of consistency on these incidents from match officials.

Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa received a eight-match ban at the back end of the 2018-19 season, after allegedly insulting a referee during their 2-0 La Liga defeat to Barcelona.
