Leonardo Ulloa joins Rayo Vallecano

Former Leicester City striker Leonardo Ulloa has joined Rayo Vallecano.

The veteran Argentinian striker was released by the Premier League side at the end of the 2017-18 season, after four seasons with the Foxes .

He joined Mexican club Pachuca on a one-year deal for the 2018-19 campaign, but he was not offered an extension on his contract at the club this summer.

Ulloa is joined in Vallecas by Antonio Milic, as the defender joins on a season long loan deal from Belgian side Anderlecht.

Rayo Vallecano are hopeful that Ulloa can score the goals to fire them towards promotion back to La Liga, after successes in the Spanish second tier with Almeria between 2010 and 2013.

The 33-year old played a key role in Leicester City's memorable 2016 Premier League title win, scoring six league goals in 29 appearances for Claudio Ranieri's side.
