Getafe striker Jaime Mata has rubbished suggestions of a potential move to Espanyol.
The 30-year old has been linked with a move to Catalonia, as a replacement for Borja Iglesias, who joined Real Betis this summer.
However the journeyman forward has committed himself to Jose Bordalas' side for the 2019-20 campaign.
"I have nothing to say about potential transfers.
"I am fully focused on playing for Getafe.
"I am only interested in winning games for Getafe."
Mata has enjoyed a nomadic professional career, and he only made his La Liga debut following a move to Getafe from Real Valladolid at the start of the 2018-19 season.
He played a key role in the Madrid-based side reaching the Europa League qualification spots last season, with 14 league goals, and was rewarded with a first cap for the Spanish national side.
