Real Valladolid want Real Madrid’s Andriy Lunin on loan

Real Valladolid are considering a loan bid for Real Madrid keeper Andriy Lunin.

According to reports in Diario AS this weekend, Sergio Gonzalez wants to bring in the 20-year old Ukrainian international to provide back up to first choice Joel Masip for the 2019-20 season.

Lunin is expected to remain third choice at the Santiago Bernabeu in the coming months, despite winning the U20 World Cup with his national side, with Keylor Navas set to remain at the club behind Thibaut Courtois.

He spent the 2018-19 season on loan at Leganes, however he only made five La Liga appearances, and Real Madrid will want assurances that he will play at the Estadio Jose Zorrillo.

Zinedine Zidane wants to keep Lunin on the club's books, and has reportedly rejected offers for the Ukrainian this summer, however he needs first team football to continue his development.
