Bayern Munich are preparing a bid for Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, according to reports in Germany.
The Argentina international has been heavily linked with a move to Premier League side Tottenham, ahead of the 2019-20 season, however reports in Bild claim that the Bundesliga superpower are ready to enter the race to sign him.
Regardless of potential interest in the 23-year old, Real Betis are determined to hold out for his full release clause of €100m, with Tottenham reportedly on willing to pay €70m.
That may allow Niko Kovac's side to gain an advantage in the battle to sign the former Paris Saint-Germain play maker, with Tottenham dependent on the money from Christian Eriksen's potential exit to improve their offer.
Lo Celso has only been a permanent Real Betis player since March, after they exercised their purchase option on him from PSG earlier than expected, as part of his season-long loan from the Ligue club.
PSG will also retain a 20% sell on fee should Real Betis look to cash in on Lo Celso in the coming weeks.
