Real Betis goal keeper Pau Lopez will join AS Roma on July 8, after completing a medical with the Serie A side.
The Spanish international has been omitted from the Real Betis squad for pre-season training, as he negotiates personal terms, after the La Liga side accepted a €28m fee for the former Espanyol stopper.
According to reports from Sky Italia this weekend, the deal includes a €20m fee up front for Lopez, as well as €7.5m to transfer the remaining 50% of ownership rights for Real Betis midfielder Antonio Sanabria after he joined the club in 2016.
Lopez signed a five-year deal at the Estadio Benito Villamarin at the start of the 2018-19 campaign, being released from Espanyol, and he made 33 La Liga appearances as first choice under former boss Quique Setien.
