Mino Raiola: Paul Pogba wants to leave Manchester United

Paul Pogba wants to leave Manchester United this summer, according to his agent Mino Raiola.

The French international has been widely linked with a move to Real Madrid, with manager Zinedine Zidane a big fan of the former Juventus midfielder, however United are reluctant to sell their star player.

Pogba stated in an interview in June that he wanted a 'new challenge' ahead of the 2019-20 season, and his representative has echoed that sentiment.

"Everyone knows the willingness of Paul to move on (from United), Raiold told an interview with The TImes.

"We are in the process of negotiating that.

"Everyone knows what Paul's feelings are."

Pogba did not report back for pre-season training with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side at the start of July, adding to speculation that he may be on his way out of Old Trafford.

However the club declined to comment on Pogba's absence, however Solskjaer did indicate that the 26-year old was one of his first team squad members that was granted additional time off following international action in June.
