AC Milan confirm Theo Hernandez move

AC Milan have confirmed The Hernandez's arrival from Real Madrid on a five-year contract.

The defender was made available for sale by Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, as part of his summer clear out of the first team squad, and the French U20 international has now completed his move to the San Siro.

The Rossoneri have not confirmed a fee, but is reported to be around €20m, for the 21-year old left back, who beat off competition from Bayer Leverkusen to bring him to Italy.

After spending the 2018-19 season on loan at Real Sociedad, the writing has been on the wall for Hernandez, after the arrival of French international Ferland Mendy at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Hernandez was signed by Zidane during his first spell in charge of the club in 2017, in a €24m deal from rivals Atletico Madrid, however made just 13 senior appearances for Los Blancos in two years.

Fellow full back Sergio Reguilon has already joined Sevilla on a season-long loan, with Marcelo set to be the back up option to Mendy in the 2019-20 season.
