Real Madrid to go ‘all out’ to sign Paul Pogba

Real Madrid have not finished their summer transfer spending spree, with a move for Manchester United's Paul Pogba still to come.

According to reports in Marca, Zinedine Zidane remains confident of securing his 'primary' target before the start of the 2019-20 campaign – despite already spending over €300m on purchases.

The Frenchman has already broken the club's transfer record to bring in Eden Hazard from Chelsea, as well as Eder Militao from Porto, Rodrygo from Santos and Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic.

However, according to the report, the Real Madrid board are happy to sanction a prolonged drive for the former Juventus midfielder, but they are not happy with United's €140m asking price.

Zidane has rejected the alternatives of Christian Eriksen and Donny van de Beek, making clear that he only wants his French compatriot, as he looks to remodel his side next season.

Pogba and his agent Mino Raiola have indicated that he wants to leave Old Trafford, following a disappointing campaign, and he is willing to take a wage cut to seal a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
