Relegated Huesca have confirmed former Rayo Vallecano boss Michel as their new head coach.
Michel was dismissed from his role at the Campo de Futbol de Vallecas back in March, with Rayo and Huesca both locked in a battle against relegation.
After their own relegation was confirmed, weeks before Rayo also slipped back down to the second tier under former boss Paco Jemez, the Aragon club sacked manager Francisco Rodriguez.
The ownership have now moved quickly to bring in Michel, who led Rayo back into La Liga in 2018, in the hope he can perform another promotion miracle and get the back into the top flight at the first attempt.
Michel said he was excited by the chance to return to La Liga, but declined to comment on the ongoing investigation into match fixing that has engulfed the club in recent weeks.
