Ajax defender Matthijs De Ligt has confirmed that no decision has be made yet on his future – however he does not believe he will cost as much as team mate Frenkie De Jong.
De Ligt has been widely tipped to follow midfielder De Jong from the Netherlands to Barcelona this summer, after De Jong agreed a €75m deal with the La Liga champions back in January, but nothing has been confirmed.
"I don't think I will be as expensive as De Jong, the 19-year old centre back told Ajax's official Twitter channel.
"Teams normally spend more on defenders than midfielders – but I don't know.
"What happens with a fee, with be up to Ajax, and not my decision.
"I have not yet decided what I will do, for now I am just focused on a strong end to the season with Ajax."
Ajax face Tottenham in the Champions League semi final first leg this week, and they are and Erik ten Hag's side are top of the Eredivise, but level on points with PSV Eindhoven, with two games to play.
