Karim Benzema will miss Rayo Vallecano clash

Karim Benzema will miss Real Madrid's trip across to face Rayo Vallecano tomorrow night with a hamstring injury.

The club confirmed the former French international's absence earlier this morning after suffering the injury in training following the 0-0 draw at Getafe.

Zinedine Zidane will also be without other key members of his first team squad for the derby clash, with Sergio Ramos and Alvaro Odriozola continuing to be sidelined, alongside Vinicius Junior.

Goal keeper Thibaut Courtois returned to the Real Madrid match day squad for the draw against Jose Bordalas' side, but Zidane is likely to keep faith with Keylor Navas until the end of the season.

Los Blancos have also denied permission for Raul de Tomas to face his parent club, after Rayo Vallecano requested an exemption for their 14-goal striker to feature in tomorrow's game.
