Rayo Vallecano want to play Raul de Tomas against Real Madrid

Rayo Vallecano boss Paco Jemez has confirmed they will ask Real Madrid to allow them to play striker Raul de Tomas in their league clash.

De Tomas is currently on loan from the Santiago Bernabeu at relegation battling Rayo, and he has netted 14 La Liga goals as they fight against a return to the Segunda Division.

“We are doing everything possible to be able to count on Raul de Tomas,” Jemez told reporters, as cited by Marca.

“I respect the fact that clubs can do as they please with players who are under their contract, I respect that completely, but we will ask Madrid for this favour.

“If they say no then there is nothing we can do, but we can but try.”
