Ernesto Valverde has moved to played down any suggestions of Barcelona fans being upset with midfielder Philippe Coutinho.
The Brazilian international came on as a late substitute in the weekend 2-1 win at home to Real Sociedad, with a somewhat mixed reception from the Nou Camp faithful.
The were cheers for the former Liverpool man, but not close to the reception of a player that netted a wonder goal in the Champions League victory over Manchester United a few days before.
Despite this, the former Athletic Bilbao boss does not believe there is any friction between the player and the fans.
"I don't think there is any story here.
"It has been given a lot of attention because it is Barcelona and with Barcelona sometimes things that are not important are given too much focus.
"The fans are with Coutinho and Coutinho is with them."
