Mohamed Salah requests to leave Liverpool – reports

Mohamed Salah wants to leave Liverpool this summer and has submitted a transfer request, report Diario AS.

The Egyptian forward blossomed last season in his debut campaign at the club – netting 44 goals in 52 appearances for the club, but that figure has dropped to just 22 strikes this time round.

The 26-year-old is said by the report to have had ‘heated discussions’ with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and has been persuaded to move onto the next chapter in his career.

It is also claimed that whilst Real Madrid do not have the former Chelsea and Roma forward on their transfer list, that situation could change should they be made aware of his availability.

Salah was stretchered off injured during last year's Champions League final between Liverpool and Madrid, when he was involved in a tussle with Sergio Ramos.
